Braskem is the world’s sixth largest producer of thermoplastic resins and is committed to enhancing users’ quality of life through sustainable chemical and plastic solutions. Their products are used to manufacture items such as food packaging, furniture, industrial and automobile components, paints and coatings, etc.

Their new Renewable Innovation Center developed by Greatland Partners is located within the 300,000 Lexington Lab Campus. The center occupies a fully renovated 35,000 SF former manufacturing building, transformed by VIVO into modern office and laboratory spaces. The facility is designed with a 70/30 lab-to-office ratio, launching with approximately 50 employees and projected to grow to 75. Research spaces include Biotech, Synthesis, Evaluation, and Analytical labs. Labs are strategically located on the north side of the building to align with existing punched windows, while office areas face the south side, utilizing the floor-to-ceiling curtain wall for natural light.
