Inari Agriculture, a botany-focused research and development company, enhances plant adaptability to diverse climate conditions. By 2018, with over 50 employees, they had outgrown their original headquarters and acquired a new location nearby. VIVO was brought in to provide comprehensive architectural planning services, including construction documentation and administration.
The VIVO team designed a cutting-edge R&D facility that includes specialized labs and dedicated space for plant growth chambers. The expanded office area is organized around a central hub of collaborative open workstations, supported by conference rooms, phone booths, and huddle spaces. A newly added central staircase improves internal circulation and connectivity between floors.
A key feature of the facility is a flexible, multi-purpose gathering space designed to host company-wide meetings of up to 90 people in a theater-style layout, complete with an integrated AV system. Using movable partitions, this area can be easily reconfigured into multiple conference rooms, each accommodating 16 to 26 people, and a fully equipped break area with ample dining tables and seating.
