Exosome Diagnostics is developing biofluid-based molecular diagnostic tests for use in personalized medicine. Exosomes are shed into all biofluids, forming a highly enriched source of intact, disease-specific nucleic acids. The Company's proprietary exosome technology makes use of this natural enrichment to achieve high sensitivity and specificity for rare gene transcripts and the expression of genes responsible for cancers and other diseases.
VIVO designed a 28,000 sf of diagnostic labs and office space to support their on-going research for cancer as well as other conditions which include neurological, endocrine and cardiovascular diseases. The specialized labs include: accessioning and extraction, RNA pre-amplification and post amplification, R&D extraction, pre-amplification and post amplification, shaker/ protein room, bio-bank storage, finished goods, final testing, shipping and receiving, and support functions.
The office area includes a glassed-in board room, private offices, internal breakroom/café, telephone and huddle rooms, and open office area utilizing a low partition benching system.
