Boston Globe. Labs, manufacturing plants, and offices remain in high demand, and not just in Boston and Cambridge.
Pathway Devens is the world’s first multi-tenant campus dedicated exclusively to biomanufacturing. Located on a 45-acre parcel in Devens, MA, the campus comprises five separate buildings with a cumulative size of 750,000 SF. Developed by King Street Properties LLC, with Vivo Architecture leading the planning, design and construction documents production, and BW Kennedy Company leading the construction process and management.
With areas ranging from 100,000 to 225,000 SF, and average clear interior heights of 36 feet, the buildings support a wide range of tenant manufacturing needs. High bay spaces are designed to accommodate bioreactors, mechanical mezzanines, heavy industry machinery, and most industrial manufacturing processes. Each building is designed to maximize flexibility, adaptability, and growth, and are delivered with raw interior space, allowing tenants full customization of their space. Building 45 Jackson Road is complete, with two adjacent buildings slated for completion by end of 2022 and first quarter of 2023.
The project includes common tenant amenities, such as exterior seating, conferencing facilities and a tap room located in a separate building and open to the public. The site also benefits from its proximity to clusters of restaurants, hiking trails and major highways
